You are free to think whatever you want ;-) At this moment, I am setting up a one partition os 10.2 now, on the same machine, exept /swap, and /home, because Alpha4 is not ready to use as a normal OS yet, and to see what is exactly the difference. I've put 1GB of extra ram to the existing 512MB, a week or so ago, which made a big difference.
