Sounds like you're referring to zen-updater? Are you not aware that it has been dropped from the distribution? Effective since alpha4. Delete zenworks package management (zmd, rug, zen-updater, libzypp-zmd-backend), and use and test the nice trinity of yast, zypper and opensuseupdater in stead. .. and before you ask: No opensuseupdater will not help you update packages from factory or other repositories like zen-updater - it will only push patches on you.
