"A valid domain name consists of components separated by dots. Each
component contains letters, digits, and hyphens. A hypen may nt start or
end a component and the last component may not begin with a digit." And
the IP address is not accepted. What is supposed to be done by someone
without a DNS server for a 192.168.X.X network? This was in the HTTP
dialog box, typing in the URL works fine...
Some time age when I was using Mandriva I made a mirror with updare
repository. It allowed all Mandriva users in my network to use local
server as mirror of updates.
I think IP address should be accepted by YaST. I even can not see any
reason why it should be not.
