Yes, I can confirm this, it happens here when i updated from alpha 5
to factory, here solves the problem to uninstall the 41 one and
install 42

$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6
libstdc++42-4.2.1_20070604-8
$
also Adrian mentioned tit yesterday on the meeting:
18:01:44) adrianS: we did the upgrade to gcc 4.2
(18:02:08) adrianS: this can cause some hazzle during update atm,
manually selection packages depending on libstdc++
(18:02:20) adrianS: a fix is already in the queue for this
