hrmmm.. I think neither of those.. why ask if it knows that a "refresh" is needed ? zypper search foobar shlould IMHO automatically refresh if **and only if** there is no metadata,and hence no cache. > In the case of YaST, should it download and refresh when adding the repos in > inst_source, or should it do it during startup of the package selector?
