This won't be fixed. All the efforts to get the radeon driver to start 'X' in 3D acceleration fail. ;-( 2D works... I do not know how to get 3D acceleration accomplished. Adding the suggested lines to xorg.conf, cause the xserver to not start, and return to tty1. sax2 recovers a cmo cmc monitor, which does not exist on this system, but can easily be corrected to the right monitor: Videoseven. Offcourse it overwrites xorg.conf, and again, i am were i started..... Reading the wiki shows me there's no 3d desktop for everybody, helas. Shame i belong to the group that is shut out.. ;-) - -- Have a nice day, M9. Now, is the only time that exists.
