Do you evaluate extensions for repo priorities? Something like protectbase plugin for Yum? I've experienced some dependency issues with Packman repository, but Packman packager does not use Zypper as myself, he uses SmartPM (which can handle situations like that). I told him that openSUSE developers does not recommend SmartPM so he rebuild these packages in order to resolve conflicts. I think that feature would be very important for Zypper.
