Hi, http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/database:/mysql51/ hosts packages of mysql 5.1, currently at version 5.1.22-rc. Mind that these packages are experimental (both upstream code and the packaging is not final), so if anything breaks... I told you. OTOH, by testing these packages, you contribute to the quality of mysql packages in future openSUSE releases ;-)
