Dear Dominique, please disregard my comments about the low activity in the other email, now, I just thought I was doing something wrong by reporting bugs here.
I have to wait until I get home to my multi-user desktop system that I share with my wife to send you the log. In the meantime I created a dummy user on my computer at work (also running OpenSUSE with GNOME 3.8), and noticed that this does not happen at work. I am alsousing an nvidia card here, but a different one... However, I am starting to think that it could be X-related.... I will do some more tests this evening and report...
