Hi,

I'm trying to find out what we need to get the extra actions supported in Gnome
on openSUSE (also on KDE if they don't work yet but I need to check that later
on ;-))
http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/desktop-entry-spec-latest.html#extra-actions

I'm trying to make the Firefox Marketplace usable finally on openSUSE and while
Firefox can already install web applications and they appear in the application
list we currently don't show an option to remove them. What's missing for that
is the above support since the desktop file and Firefox itself already contains
the needed functionalities to remove an app. It's just not visible to the user
as an option.

Via Google I found https://github.com/nemec/gnome-shell-desktop-action-jump-list
but haven't tried it since it apparently is not available as extensions from the
Gnome site.
Does anyone know if Gnome will support the extra actions at some point or know
about a stable extension we could add to the openSUSE default installation?

Thanks for any input,

Wolfgang
