If it is considered openSUSE logo then it is restricted, but no one is 
prevented to create derivatives that are not official.

For identification purposes main point is similarity to official logo.
IMHO, Geeko in many shapes and forms with, or without added graphic elements.

Alone that will not change much, but for sure it is part of our image 
improvement.

I added to page intro: 
Official logo is strictly defined, but derivatives are not limited with that.

So far I see, that is the only missing explanation.
