Unless someone otherwise for sure, GRUB2 is not a feature in the initial release of 11.4 despite numerous early public comment suggesting that would happen.
Initial "look" indicates 11.4 is still using "GRUB Legacy" and a GRUB2 package is available in the OSS Repository. Anywhere and everywhere GRUB2 this is mentioned should be altered or purged.
