A few weeks ago some of us talked about reviving a form of weekly news. Of course most of us agreed to have something every month instead of every week. After talking with a few community people about it and how we could do that we came up with some ideas. Some of the ideas are: - Have a monthly instead of a weekly release. - Have it both in electronic form as well as in a printable form. - Have it published every second Monday of the Month - Have articles that are written for (and why not exclusively) for Monthly news. - Host monthly team reports - Release in News page - Have interviews of people around and inside openSUSE. - Unify the output from all the communication channels into a single news place. Most of the above ideas are not new and we surely need some more before we proceed but the general idea is to have the first issue released at March 10. We also need some artwork done and a catchy title for it.
