I hope we can migrate things to an official opensuse server at some
point. Just to avoid confusion ...... my server space is only an interim
solution until we have the central build servers and
repositories/webspace.

Simon has put quite a few apps already into the repository. Look at
SUPER KLICK. He has scripts running converting the official rpm's into
cmg's

The 1 CD install CD contains some info.

Steps I would do

1.) Take the current kde 1 CDinstall, install it and start removing
things until features break. There are quite a few base rpm's that are
required for Networking an other hardware support. Create a base KDE.
take rpm -qa and create a My.sel file.
2.) Put klik into it.
3.) master iso and test and fix
4.) Replace some i586 rpm's with i686 rpm's
5.) Integrate PrePr from SUPER Preloading
6.) Any other mods?
7.) master iso and Test and fix
8.) Release

Yeah. let's experiment. No rule to stop that from happening ;)

well I am no Software developer and compared to SUSE people on this
list I am just an amateur, when it comes to distro making. But I am
happy to apply the little I do know.

I am looking forward to some good teamwork .....

Andreas
