A good thing would be to have some instructions on how to upgrade our current SuSE 10 to have all the new SLICK features and optimized packages using APT perhaps.

I think nothing has changed - I have not seen any comments that this
is a wrong direction. There might just have been so many releases/so
quickly that not so many users can stay in pace :)
