I am thinking of moving to 10.0 on my laptop. In particular, I like the
concept of Super as my laptop even though it is a 900 MHz PIII can be
slow at times. I am also a user of KDE. Some questions come to mind
though.

- What is the difference between Super and SLICK?

- What is the pre-load/pre-link process?

- I use an Atheros based WiFi card (3COM) and in testing 10.0-RC1 had
to install the nongpl kernel. Is this the same for Super/SLICK? I
presume that installing the nongpl kernel will overlay the Super kernel
so I will lose any speed improvements.

- Can I apply the Super patches to the nongpl kernel? Has this been
tried? Will this cause my laptop to explode in a shower of sparks and
flames??? Can I sell this effect to Hollywood or is it patented?

Thanks in advance for any directions and help.
