Yes they are.

AFAIK, the SUSE kernel maintainer applies around 85% of Con's patches and 
leaves out the stuff that
does not speed up the system.

Hence, the SUSE Linux kernel performs better than the SUPER one.
And I think there have been some kernel benchmarks a few weeks ago that confirm 
it.

There should have been communication of some sort between SUPER and the SUSE 
kernel maintainer.
