I did some testing, and found that if I set my display size to 21 inches (the normal size is 14.1 inches) using Yast, then the print window is sized to fit properly on my display. However, the screen fonts became very very tiny. I was able to reset the fonts from 10 to 14 so the screen looks OK, but the Gimp display fonts are small. I looks like the Gimp creates its own fonts and sizes them according to the specified display size. I will pose the question on the Gimp forum to see if there is a workaround.
