When those changes get made will the updated packages just show up in
the Opensuse 11.4 "Update" repository?

Or do I have to apply patches myself or something?

That was a typo.

I meant to say

xm create -c guest.cfg

But you're right.  Just

xm create guest.cfg

seems to work. And I can use the 'xm console guest' instead.
