I just upgraded from Cedar Mill to Conroe in order to pick up VT-x, and install VirtualBox. I've been running BS stable kernels on this install since the beginning. Today zypper in virtualbox pulled in a 2.6.37 kernel, which hadn't been installed since the original installation was upgraded to stable BS kernel over a year ago. Zypper rm kernel-desktop-2.6.37.6 caused virtualbox to uninstall. Then with kernel-desktop unlocked I did zypper in kernel-desktop virtualbox to get VBox back, which brought 2.6.37 back in again. What does the 2.6.37 kernel provide that 3.5.3 doesn't have but VBox needs?
