Upstream maintenance of that was long deprecated, and the code got removed right after the release of 4.2. So with no clear demand it was decided to drop support (and hence the building of it), but iirc for 12.1 post-release there was a decision to still make 32-bit packages available. For 12.2, I don't think you can expect that, and starting with whatever release is going to use upstream's 4.3 it's going to be plain impossible.
