For the record (and for those not reading the factory mailinglist) virt-manager 1.0.1 from the virtualization repo (or in Tumbleweed) has a soft dependency on libappindicator, which is a MATE-package. It was added to factory, but not to Tumbleweed. I tried around with the packages in home:ojkastl_buildservice:Testing, and could install virt-manager without errors (it just pulled in the libappindicator-stuff). I can now start virt-manager, but only on one machine. On the other one I get no reaction at all, no window, no errors. We'll see what's wrong there...
