The question the becomes, what do you want to set up and what software do you prefere for that? So perhas a list with wellknown protocols with their programs that can be used. Each program then could have the indicatoon if it is on the download version, on the boxed version, on one of the extra repo's and wich one) or external. Perhaps devided in Gnome, KDE, X, GUI and Server.
