The parameter! yes. I was thinking how this template could work and I
thought that the parameter was the name of the page.
Now, I understand that and it is working right. By the way, other templates
(in opensuse.org/Templates) specify that you need to put a parameter while
this is not specified in this case.

I think that  for me is easier to use the IW template that having to check
if exist a translated page in other languages (fr, de) and put the name of
that pages, and this links with you other thread "page  naming and
translations".

For a point of view of a person who only translates a very few pages, it is
very difficult to think in the relationships of the page I am translating
with the other languages. I only care about the translation I am doing and I
don't even think in putting a link to other languages, so we have to find an
easy way to do the interwiki links.
