I wrote a script (making a jpg with comments - GPL) with php. I made a openSUSE wiki page
http://fr.opensuse.org/Gérer_ses_photographies/l'usage_quotidien#Faire_un_DVD where it is referenced (among other things). It's not possible (nor probably wishable) to upload a tgz to openSUSE. so is this way (giving my web page) the good way? will it be any mean to include a scrpit (this one or any other) in an official SUSE Linux repository?
