If they do, I switch disto in a hartbeat, because that means others with the same level as I have can change stuff. I don't trust myself. :-) If I would change something and do a stupid typo, like http://en.opensuse/org instead of http://en.opensuse.org, who are the paying customers going to complain to, you think? So what would happen is that these same programmers need to check and veryfy each and every change done by individuals. And I am just talking about typo's, not even redirecting users to houghi.org or goatse or even worse, libdvdcss. Checking these things will cost the same time, if not more then jst filing a bug.
