Hi, I want to thank Henne and Martin for havin created the PT mailing list and all the work they have done to get the PT wiki up and running.
Know if just that Usuário thing on the wiki was changed, that will really be graeat. I do not know if you remember the discussion, but basically it is around this file: http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/phase3/languages/messages/MessagesPt.php In the beginning of this file, you can see the following comment: /* Above entries are for PT_br. The following entries should be used instead. But: DO NOT USE THOSE ENTRIES WITHOUT MIGRATING STUFF ON WIKIMEDIA WEB SERVERS FIRST !! You will just break a lot of links 8-) NS_USER => 'Utilizador', # 2 NS_USER_TALK => 'Utilizador_Discussão', # 3 */ Basically what I was asking was to simply comment the two lines before this comment, and uncomment this comment. This would change the word Usuário to Utilizador, as it is programmed to be done by the wikimedia authors for the PT language. They haven't done so already because they have a lot of Usuário:** pages. If we do that change now, while we have just a few users subscribed in the PT wiki, we are preventing falling in the same mistake as them, and everything will be just great.
