It looks very cool! Especially when imaginatevly adding the CD/DVD icons :-)

I don't think that an explicit clue to that is necessary because
* experienced people will use a download manager anyways if they want to
* non-technical users will be confused by that
* this adds another step to the download procedure and we wanted to keep
it as simple as possible

Do we really need md5sums? The medias are checked during installation
anyway.

Honestly if there are problems running 64bit stuff on a 64bit system
then these problems should be reported and we should try to fix them.
