I see. Let's hope Sean will fix them soon and we can get rid of xscreensaver
finally!
There have been many commits recently so I think a stable release will
come soon. I wish xfce4-screensaver could be in Leap 15.1 but even if
released now, it might be premature to add it. It will likely be in
Tumbleweed first.
That being said, xscreensaver looks kinda dated and "ugly" but it's fast
and reliable.
There is a way to make it look a bit
better:http://www.bstegmaier.de/xscreensaver-theming
OT:
Is there some ToDo list or open bugs for oS:Xfce?
Maybe especially for someone
without "real" dev skills? I still struggle to get into work at openSUSE...
openSUSE Xfce bugs are tracked in bugzilla like any other openSUSE bug.
For example:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/buglist.cgi?component=Xfce&product=openSUSE%20Tumbleweed&resolution=---
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/buglist.cgi?component=Xfce&product=openSUSE%20Distribution&resolution=---
If you struggle with it just find me online and I can help you with it :-)
There is a ToDo list in the openSUSE Xfce Wiki but it's mostly for
reference only: https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Xfce
Right now there is only the Live CD items which is currently something
being pushed forward and almost ready to be deployed.
Cheers,
