The /etc/init.d/asterisk is starting /.../asterisk instead of safe_asterisk
(the script).
"rcasterisk start" somehow runs under user=asterisk. how can I change it
to run under user=root (I know the arguments not to do this).
safe_asterisk runs under user=root (or whoever was used to start it).
When I modified /etc/init.d/asterisk to start safe_asterisk, it fails on
authorization to /dev/tty9 and gets into a loop (the script tries to
restart when it fails).
does anybody have some recommendations? solutions?
