autoyast2-utils is not on the CD's, so that is why I am asking. It makes
the instalation of create_package_descr much more difficult from the
script I have written. (makeSUSEdvd). With the previous versions, it would
check if you had create_package_descr and if not, check if you had Yast
and if you had install autoyast2-utils.
If you have added the sources, this is not a problem. If you have not done
so, it would not be able to find it.

The next question comes up almost automaticaly: will the outdated version
be removed or will it be replaced with the correct version?

The most ideal situation (at least from my point of view) is to remove the
outdated version and add autoyast2-utils to the CD's.
