I reinstalled and choose "minimal install with x". Then I started YaST 
and choose the following selections: KDE Desktop Environment, All of 
KDE, GNOME System, Office Apps, Multimedia, VoIP, C/C++, Experienced 
user

Now I have a preview in gnome-control-center and...it works.
I think if you only install "GNOME System" the screensaver modules are 
missing.

I had no problems with 9.3. I did full install, performed the online 
update, patched gnome-session not to start susewatcher and suseplugger 
and it works stable.

the "no screensaver modules installed" problem happens to RC1.
