I am actually using k3b to create a DVD as we speak.
What I find curious is that every minute or so, Konqueror opens a new
window pointing at file::/media/xxxx.
I have been closing the window manually and it is anoying.

I'm currently running 10.0 RC1 (from 1CD Gnome install), and I have
found that initially it finds and mounts CDs automatically. However
after a few reboots (and admittedly some package installs), it no
longer mounts the CD, complaining that the /dev/cdrecorder does not
exist (which is correct). I haven't had time to work out what is
actually happening, but saw your request for info.
