I agree. Sometimes only one particular commercial product actually does the 
business. On the other hand an open source one that I haven't heard of may do 
it just as well or better.

Can our wiki have star ratings? 

Can we have these external offerings on a YOU compatible server? Saves lots 
of fiddling about finding the right download etc, which is why we go for 
distros anyway.

However what about things such as MP3 which may/maynot be legal to include in 
certain juresdictions? Otherwise effectivly we are only getting what is legal 
in Utah. To be truely open we need alternate sources.
