I've had the result of a frozen system with the
nv-driver, and all nvidia-driver from 1.6.x and
above.

but there is always a good point on all bad points:
now my main monitor (a 19'' noname till then) is now
a "PTS Proview" witch works now correctly with
85 hertz at 1600x1200 pixel - so work is mutch
nicer then before at 1280x1024 pixel ;) :)
