I'd call them "flavours", as they are binary-compatible/identical - it's 
just the selection of packages that differs.

That would be inst-source (OSS) + inst-source-java (non-OSS) + the extra 
stuff on ftp.suse.com (binary-only stuff, even contains mp3 support).
