Much easier for the user to use. Just add it as an instalation source in
Yast.
If you have a bunch of rm files yourself (e.g. after using checkinstall,
like I do for myself) just do `createrepo /usr/src/packages/RPMS` or
wherever you put your rpm's and add that as a source.

So as I see it, from somebody who wants to put a repository (or
instalation source) online it is a lot easier. For the user it is also
easier, because they can just ignore if it is an official YAST or a YUM
(or whetever they are going to add in the future) repository.

No need to read the apt pages.
