Do they really use libdvdcss2? So, why would they sell it as literally
legal in the US? They are not that stupid, are they? They say that it is
xine with a commercially licensed addition.

But anyway, I think that Novell should be able to get such a project up
and running. They could even make money with it.

You already confinced me that going the xine/mplayer way is hard. But
what about getting PowerDVD or LinDVD for Linux and make it work with
the ATI and Nvidia drivers. Did these two graphic card vendors implement
Macrovision into their Linux driver? It is clearly far from OSS, but I
would be able to watch DVDs legally.
