That's right. The original amarok package supports mp3 by using libmad but 
the amarok included in SL 10.0 cannot use libmad due to legal reasons (no 
contracts with Thomson and others). So it uses the helix framework of the 
Realplayer to decode mp3 (possible because of agreements with 
RealNetworks).
