Thanks for the info. I am a relative noob to linux so
I was not aware of how to create the new x config in
the command line. It didn't work but it was helpful to
get some more ideas of how things work.
Good news is I got it fixed. I went to YOU and had it
update my nvidia driver and in the process it fixed
the issue.
As far as configuration changes I did add sdl-devel so
I could compile dosbox. Sdl-devel had a rather large
list of requirements that also loaded so I do not have
a complete list of all that was loaded.
