Hello Neal,

I generally find SUSE to be more stable then Fedora and there are more
graphical system configuration utilities (YAST) that makes it easier for
you to configure your system. SUSE is a good starting point to pick up
Linux and you can move on to other distros when you become familiar with
SUSE. You will always be learning when you are using Linux no matter
which distro you use and its a nice experience IMHO.
