Hi Per, should not harm. I got the same message (on ppc) but it works. > dmesg says: > logips2pp: Detected unknown logitech mouse model 1 > input: PS/2 Logitech Mouse on isa0060/serio1 Is it really a ps2 mouse? If it is: try a "cat /dev/psaux" or "cat /dev/input/mice" as root. It should produce some "noise" on your screen. > The mouse works fine in Compaq SmartStart, What is this? > but not in e.g. sax2 or > elsewhere. Any hints as to where to start troubleshooting this? Take a look in /dev/input/ Theoretically you have to find the correct device, where your mouse events are reported. Insert this device in /etc/sysconfig/mouse or run sax2 with commandline option for the mouse device. -- mdc --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
