Another thing: If your company is one of those paranoid enough to force 
such trailers onto every single email sent (including those sent by its 
executives and officers, I wonder?), then it should be even more 
concerned over the possibility that you might be construed by 
recipients of your messages as speaking officially for the company  
(which we know you don't, of course). They should forbid posting to 
public forums using your company email address unless your job 
specifically makes you a public spokesperson for the organization.
