Hello,
I have always gotten this to work with FAT but, after 1 hr of googling and
trying all kinds of combinations I am failing to do it with a reiser
partition. I know its just a question of the right options though...

I just want my shared reiser partition Readable/writable/owned by a user.
Currently I am only able to get write access as root (even if I mount it as
a user).
The relevant fstab entry is:

/dev/hda8 /mnt/share reiserfs rw,user,acl,user_attr
        1 2

Maybe the problem is in the ACL stuff, since I have no idea how to
handle/interpret it.

Many thanks,
Dirk

PS: making a partition RW for a user has always been an issue with every
distro ive used so far. Ive always had to edit fstab manually. Wouldnt it
be nice to just have an option during the install process?
