In your first post you were crying, ftp4.gwdg.de had a problem.. who else then Eberhard would be better to solve this issue? Have you looked at his address? it's @gwdg.de... so maybe he might have some access you don't have?? And he's always the nice guy checking that these mirrors are up and running...
so: probably if Eberhard says so, there's nothing that can be done on the gwdg-mirrors! You could use whatever mirror with this repository and you'd have the same fault...
So, first read some netiquettes about being friendly on lists, then think about the guys are trying to help, rephrase all sentences before sending them, and everybody will like to help you as good as possible...
