SuSE used to be an acronym, but it isn't anymore. Since a while now, the correct way to write it is SUSE and nothing else. It no longer stands for anything

Well, you folks at Novell (or even at SuSE earlier, if Christoph's right)
can decide to change or print on your boxes whatever you want :-) For
those of us who've been using SuSE for a while (I started in 1996), SuSE
always was and will always be an acronym and the only correct way to
spell it is "SuSE". Nothing you can do about that ;-) Expect you are
shouting "SuSE", then it would be "SUSE" :-)

Oh, and btw, if SuSE was changed to SUSE, then you can't call
it "SUSE Linux 10.0", can you? Because there's never been a "SUSE 9.0"
or earlier version, only a "SuSE 9.0" etc. :-)

Anyway, Novell seems to be undecided about capitalization in general...
http://www.novell.com/de-de//linux/suse/ has "SUSE Linux" in the right
upper corner in that green bar and in the middle grey bar saying "SUSE
Linux 10.0". But on the left and on the right it is "SUSE LINUX".
So has Novell decided to change Linux to LINUX as well? ;-)

Don't worry, I'm not going to write more about this topic :-))

cu,
Frank
