Then you are doing something wrong. The Nvidia driver install using YOU does work. It has worked in -every- install/upgrade I have done since I started to use an Nvidia graphics card. As has been stated many times in the SUSE english list the 3D checkbox will -not- be selected when checking with sax2 but 3d -is- turned on.
