There has been a bug filed for this at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=117023 already. You should use the fix from comment #2 as it is IMHO the easiest way to fix this issue. In order to slow down booting as little as possible you should probably combine that with ionice (man ionice).
