I did get rid of this using pam_usb : what it does is looking for some
credentials on a plugged usb device. You don't need to enter passwords for gdm,
kdm, su, sudo ... as long as a usb stick is plugged in and contains valid DSA
key for the user you are willing to execute from.

Installation is really easy : have a look at : http://www.pamusb.org/

Maybe a good addition for the upcomming release ;)
