I think Dinosaurs sends the wrong message (old, outdated) where as
Dragons sends the right message "large and powerful serpent

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical> or spiritual

Dinosaurs are lizards (the name means "terrible lizard").
Dragons do not exist, hence are no more lizards than they are
butterflies.
